Our Values

Youth Leadership: We believe young people can lead real environmental change, not just wait to inherit the problem.

Community First: Every program is designed around what our schools and neighborhoods actually need.

Education: Lasting change starts with understanding, and that's why workshops are at the center of what we do.

Our Story

It started small: we noticed how much single-use plastic and waste our own school and community were producing, and how little of it was actually being handled responsibly. And a passing observation was the beginning of our inspiration.

We started showing up to events, workshops, and summits to learn more, and the more we learned, the harder it got to sit with. Seeing firsthand how much damage plastic waste and pollution are doing to our planet, water, wildlife, and air we all share was devastating in a way that’s hard to put into words. It wasn’t something we could unlearn or unsee.

So after a lot of late-night calls trying to figure out what we could actually do about it, we decided the answer was to stop talking about the problem and start building something to address it. We became an official 501(c)(3) nonprofit so we could take that concern and turn it into real, organized action with a community of people who care as much as we do.
