About Youth Eco Impact

A youth-led nonprofit born in Brecksville, Ohio, with a mission to fight plastic pollution and empower young environmental leaders.

Our Mission

To empower young people to lead environmental stewardship by helping local businesses and schools replace single-use plastics with sustainable alternatives — building a cleaner, greener Greater Cleveland.

Our Story

We started as a group of high school students frustrated by the plastic waste around us. What began as a passion project grew into a real nonprofit — with grants, school partnerships, and community events across Greater Cleveland.

From the NEO Youth Climate Summit to Earth Week at our local elementary school, we’ve proven that young people don’t have to wait to make a difference. We’re doing it right now.
